Students form all over the world come to Indian shores for the study of Natural and Applies Sciences, Liberal Arts and Humanities, the reason- India has a wealth of resources, from infrastructure to faculty. A variety of Programmes are available in traditional liberal arts and humanities. There are 162 traditional universities and more than 7,494 colleges offering degree in Science/ Arts / Commerce. Undergraduate Programmes are offered in more than 150 disciplines and post graduate in 50 more than 50 specialisations.
Securing Admission
Candidates can apply for admission to Ed.CIL or directly to University/College for these courses according to the specific institute’s rules and regulations.
Candidates for postgraduate courses are required to appear for an All-India Biotechnology Entrance Test admission to M.Sc./M.Sc.(Agri.)/M.V.Sc.(Animal) Biotech/M.Tech. Biotechnology, which is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. The combined entrance exam is applicable for admission to 20 universities/institutes in various parts of the country.
In most law institutes/universities, selection is on the basis of an entrance test. Admission to NLSIU is through an all-India admission test held usually on the first Sunday in May.
